A Memorial for
Larry Becker

Lawrence “Larry”
Becker, lightworker extraordinaire
and prime time networker-a Marinite for the last 15 years died
on September 24th when his car crashed into a tree on Highway
101 in Corte Madera. We have lost a devoted friend, community
servant, networker, pal and joke-teller.
Larry served on the Board of Sunrise Center
in Marin for over ten years. He was active in The Mill Valley
Film Festival, CHADD, Spirit Rock Singles, Human Awareness Institute,
George Leonard's Community ITP, Shabbos Shul, Celebrations of
Love, Cabro House, and other conscious communities.
A man whose business card read “Prime Time
Networker,” Larry thrived in connecting people and projects,
causes and supporters, friends and acquaintances. He was ubiquitous
at most events-tirelessly and selflessly greeting, serving, cleaning,
introducing, teaching, supporting-spreading love in every way
he could.
He is survived by a brother and sister, and
was buried in Beth Israel Cemetery in NJ. Hundreds of his friends
in Marin County and throughout the country will mourn his loss.
We love you, Larry, and miss you truly and deeply.
You were an exceptional human being. No doubt you have already
made new friends wherever you are, and that you are already beginning
to network your new connections, in your own inimitable style:
